Meeting Times

We meet twice a week, on Wednesdays (between approximately 7:00pm & 11:00pm) and Saturdays (between 2:00pm & 6:30pm). Members may use the Railway Club for graded or other matches before these times, if they wish.

Access

Regrettably, our present venue is has no disabled access. We use the top floor rooms at the Railway Club and there is neither a ramp into the building (there are steep steps) nor a lift to the top floor rooms (there is a steep staircase ascending two stories).

Facilities

We provide all the usual facilities of a chess club: boards, pieces, chess clocks, notation sheets (for competition matches), tables, chairs etc., - there is also a licenced bar on the ground floor of the Railway Club.
